_Connector

class compas_fea2.model._Connector[source]

Bases: FEAData

Base class for connectors.

A Connector links nodes between parts in the model.

Parameters:

nodeslist[Node] | compas_fea2.model.groups.NodesGroup: The connected nodes. The nodes must be registered to different parts. For connecting nodes in the same part, check compas_fea2.model.elements.SpringElement.

Notes

Connectors are registered to a compas_fea2.model.Model. All numeric values mentioned in subclasses that represent physical quantities use the active unit system of the session. See compas_fea2.units.
