class compas_fea2.model._Material(*args, **kwargs)[source]

Initialises base Material object.

Note

Materials are registered to a compas_fea2.model.Model and can be assigned to sections in different elements and parts.

Parameters:

denisty (float) – Density of the material.

Attributes:

  • name (str) – Automatically generated id. You can change the name if you want a more human readable input file.

  • density (float) – Density of the material.
